- ICT-related Ugandan start-ups for pre-Series-A ($0.5~1 million) investment -
Singapore- December 28, 2021: Asia Africa Investment and Consulting Ptd. Ltd. (AAIC) as a member of JICA Task Force, we will co-host “2022 NINJA Uganda Emerging Tech Pitch Event”, together with Rakuten Europe and Uganda’s local key accelerators--- Start-up Uganda, Hive Colab, Outbox, and The Innovation Village. This event will be held on January 12, 2022, 10 am-12 pm East African Time, via Zoom (Online), free of charge. Next Innovation with Japan (NINJA) is a start-up support initiative by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) designed to support entrepreneurs and start-ups in developing countries in creating innovative business models and technologies to solve social issues. After three months in the JICA NINJA Accelerator Program, a fully-funded proof-of-concept exercise, and a sensational initial pitch event at the 2021 Kampala Innovation Week that attracted a list of regional investors from some of Uganda’s top banks and VCs, the five start-ups are now ready to pitch to Japanese and global investors on January 12, 2022. We are pleased to invite global investors to the “2022 NINJA Uganda Emerging Tech Pitch Event”, where we will proudly present five ICT-related Ugandan start-ups for pre-Series-A ($0.5~1 million) investment. These five start-ups were selected out of 100 Ugandan applicants for their business model, impact, and potential for growth.
