Uganda ranks among the top 10 most populous countries in Africa, with an average age of 16, making it a country full of potential for the future. It is also very stable, and its economic development is highly anticipated.
Furthermore, Uganda has seen the rise of startups in sectors like Fintech and Mobility, and there is a growing number of young, entrepreneurial-minded individuals. The government, including situs toto agencies such as MoICT&NG, MTIC, and STI-OP(*), has recognized the importance of entrepreneurs and is actively improving and strengthening policies to enhance the startup ecosystem. We are drawn to the entrepreneurs who are sincerely addressing Uganda’s challenges and steadily expanding their businesses. There is also the potential for these startups to expand into neighboring countries.
